Alon (Wave) Urban Apparel Logo

Logo design for an urban apparel brand concept.
“Alon” is the Tagalog (Filipino) word for “waves”.

The rolling motion of sea waves inspired the continuity in the flow characters of the type logo.

Other symbols were also considered for the logo, to be encased in a sharp wave: The y-shaped icon was taken from dowsing – a method used to find water with forked branch. The three-pronged spear is attributed to Poseidon, god of the sea.
